Things have been slow and sad lately. I suppose I'm depressed. Haven't gotten as much work on art done. New Star Wars movie coming out has me wired worse than Ben Wyatt at a police station. I've had such a sense of melancholy lately. Even worse, there has been a spectre of death lately. The old woman across the hall died a few days ago. Didn't know her well.  She was just one of those little wrinkled ladies that sometimes sat on the porch and would smile and say "Hi honey!" when I walked passed. Then yesterday a fellow barfleet member died in one of the ways that I fear will happen to me.  Someone found her in her shower. We are both epilept

the following is me being an emotional art brat. feel free to ignore. not that anyone reads these. I feel like a failure. I shouldn't judge my art in terms of favorites or reblogs or whatever, but I really feel like most of my work has gone incredibly unnoticed. Notes/reblogs/faves...they aren't the most important thing, but I've had very little encouragement, despite forcing myself to do a lot of extra work. Some of the things that I feel are my stronger pieces are practically invisible, while there is this one specific piece that people are looking at constantly and it's ...really not nearly as good as the rest of my work this month.
